About the Artist

Hello and thanks for popping by!  My name is Kristy and I am the owner and photographer behind Kristen J. Photography.  I am incredibly lucky to have turned something that started as a hobby and part-time passion into something so near and dear to my heart.  My life is centered around my two small boys (and my sweet, supportive husband!) who have really taught me how important the little moments are and how quickly children truly do grow!  Not only do I treasure the work I do, but the friendships that are made throughout the process.  It is such an honor to capture people at their most intimate moments and wonderful times in their lives.

I love working with children and it is even more fun to watch them grow and watch families expand!  I prefer to shoot outdoors but do have a home-based studio that works well for newborns, children, and small groups.  I live in the south-west side of the city in Windermere.  While I have some favorite locations to shoot at, I always love to find new gems around the city!  I look forward to meeting and working with you and your family soon!
